Camp Euforia is an annual ‘JamBand-Esque’ festival held in Lone Tree Iowa every summer that has grown from a small fan-appreciation party to a full-blown, two-day sonic boom that showcases both local and national talent. The festival features 48 hours of music on two stages drawing the support of over a thousand music lovers. In 2008 it was determined that a DJ set fueled by techno was something that the line up was missing. Iowa producer/promoter/label owner & DJ Matt Rissi was undoubtedly the man for the job & he was booked to close down the main stage on Saturday night. This was a very important night for techno in Iowa as this was an opportunity to share a music that’s loved by so many with like minded individuals that had no idea of it’s local existence. His set delivered the moods, grooves & rhythms of the underground through the festival sound system with a dominating force that stirred up an energetic atmosphere that had never been felt at the camp. A night to remember, recorded to reminisce.
